Character/Town Name Special Characters Chart

Use this chart to encode special characters into your name and town for ACC. When you set up your characters on the My Characters page, simply follow this chart, and replace the special character with the matching markup tags. Also, when you are given your passwords, the other user's name and town will show up both with and without the markup, so you know exactly which keys to use on the AC keyboard.

To use markup, just take the letter (on the left) for the row that the character is on, and the number (at the top) for the column that the character is on, and put the two inside brackets, [A1] = ! for example. If it is an accented character, simply add the third number at the top of column for the accented characters, [B11] = , for example. This number is the same as the number of times you press the "X" button on the GameCube controller to get that accent for the character.

Here are some examples:

jader201[M3] = jader201 [K7][N7][K8] = Noj[B51]Jos[B52] = NojJos

Tip: Print this and hold onto it for reference when you enter users' names and towns.
