Harvest Moon
Wed, Sep 1 - Thu, Sep 30, random date, 6pm - 9pm
Another weird holiday! You need to be paying attention to your diary in order to find out the exact day this happens. It can be any time this month. Visit your nearby lake between 6 and 9pm to view the Harvest Moon in all its glory! Don’t miss out. It’s a sight to see! If you find Tortimer, he will give you the largest gift you've ever received!

Labor Day
Tue, Sep 7
Take a step back and admire all the hard work you've put into your village. Take a break and find Tortimer. He'll even tell you how nice your village is. Then of course, it's time for another gift.

Fall Sports Fair
Thu, Sep 23
You better start lifting weights now. The Fall Sports Fair is coming! Play games with your animal neighbors. Check in at different times to try different things:
9am Gymnastics
11am Foot Race
1pm Ball Game
3pm Tug-of-war

Make sure to check in with the Mayor and he will present you with a gift for being so athletically minded.

October 2010
Explorer's Day
Mon, Oct 11
It's what you do everyday, whether you're looking for fossils or tracking down Jingle to get an extra present. You are an explorer, just like Columbus! Tortimer, when you find him, will give you a gift in honor of that.

Mushroom Season
Fri, Oct 15 - Mon, Oct 25, 8:00 am
Find these funky fungi every day starting at 8am. Hurry though, because your fellow villagers also want to get their hands on these tantalizing toadstools. Five show up every morning and fetch a pretty penny at Nook's.

Halloween
Sun, Oct 31
Trick or treat!! Break out the Smarties and the SweetTarts, cause little Jimmy's gonna come a-knockin'! So you better fill his goody bag full of... well... goodies, or he may force you to have a good whiff of his hot sweaty bunions. HINT: Start buying your candy early or you'll be tricked!

November 2010
Mayor’s Day
Wed, Nov 3
The town honors its ancient mayor on this day. Pay a visit to Mayor Tortimer to thank him for his often overlooked role in overseeing the town. You may get something more than his thanks! Mayor Tortimer is by the Wishing Well on Mayor’s Day. Players who stop by to wish him well will be rewarded with a special item!

Fall Fishing Tourney
Sun, Nov 7 - Sun, Nov 28, Every Sunday
Miss out on the Summer Fishing Tourney? Now's your chance to show off your angling skills. Show up at the lake every Sunday with your finest catch. Chip will give you something every time you beat the daily record. Only bass count towards the competition, but Chip will gladly take any fish off of your hands. Tortimer also shows up on one of these days. If you find him he will give you the Fishing Trophy as a memento. HINT: Do your fishing early to score the big ones.

Officer’s Day
Thu, Nov 11
Even while you’re sleeping, the two police pooches – stalwart Copper and sheepish… um, sheepdogish Booker – keep order in the town from their base at the station. Today is the day to thank them for their vigilant service! Pay a visit to Mayor Tortimer and find out what’s in store for the two officers on their special day. Go find and talk to Mayor Tortimer to get a special item that will always remind the player of the police dogs.

Harvest Festival
Thu, Nov 25, 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Get out those utensils and loosen those belt buckles, because today the biggest turkey dinner of the year is served! Mayor is working non-stop to make sure this year’s meal will be the best ever! But where will the animals find a turkey to join them for dinner? Check with Mayor Tortimer to see what he has planned (taking your axe with you is optional). This could be the start of a big Thanksgiving adventure. HINT: Be nice to the special invited guest because he will be nice to you!

Sale Day
Fri, Nov 26
The biggest sale event of the year happens the day after the Harvest Festival. You will find blowout prices on some of your favorite items. Tom Nook will be selling grab bags at very low prices. Each grab bag contains 3 random items. Redd will also be in town selling his usual stuff. Find Tortimer at the well to get your Market Model.

December 2010
Snow Day
Wed, Dec 1
Break out your mittens and put on your ear muffs because snow should be falling in your town by now. Head on down to the wishing well to talk to Tortimer. He will give you a snowman to remember the seasons.

Toy Day
Thu, Dec 23
The best thing about the holidays is giving and receiving gifts. Tortimer shows his gift giving spirit by giving you a toy. If your character is a boy you will receive a miniature car that looks like Gracie's car. If your character is a girl you will receive a doll.

Visit from Jingle
Fri, Dec 24 - Sat, Dec 25, 8 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Since Rudolph always seems to get all the attention Jingle tries to one-up him by giving out free furniture. Talk to Jingle from 8 pm, December 24th to 1 am, December 25th and he will give you a piece of rare Jingle Series furniture. You can get the whole series but you will have to be clever. After you receive a piece of furniture you can walk away, change into another outfit, and talk to Jingle again. He may not recognize you and will give you another piece of furniture. HINT: Stock up on your shirt collection!
