Silver Tools
Silver Shovel How To Get: Given by Resetti when you get into the Resetti Surveillance Center in the city. Update from Regular Tool: Provides 10% chance at doubling the bells that appear from a money rock when hit.
Silver Axe How To Get: Given by Serena once you throw an axe into your town fountain. Update from Regular Tool: Unlike the regular axe, silver axes can't break.
Silver Net How To Get: Available at Nook N' Go for 500 bells in the tools section. (Rarely appears) Update from Regular Tool: Slightly larger than regular net.
Silver Fishing Rod How To Get: Available in Nook N' Go for 500 bells in tools section. (Rarely appears) Update from Regular Tool: Fish see the lure from further away then the regular fishing rod in the water.
Silver Slingshot How To Get: Available at Nook N' Go for 500 bells in tools section. (Rarely appears) Update from Regular Tool: As the regular slingshot fires one pellet into the air, the silver slingshot fires two pellets into the air at once.
Silver Watering Can How To Get: Get in mail from "Posy Farm" after buying 50 bags of seeds from Nook. Update from Regular Tool: This has the ability to make a wilted red turnip back to regular.
Golden Tools
Golden Shovel How To Get: Bury a regular shovel into the ground. 24 hours later, dig it back up, and it should be a golden shovel. Note: You can do this as many times as you want. Update from Regular Tool: Unlike the silver shovel, the golden shovel has no effect on the money rocks, but instead allows you to make money trees.
Golden Axe How To Get: Given by Serena once you throw an axe into the town fountain. Update from Regular Tool: Unlike the regular axe, golden axes can't break.
Golden Net How To Get: Given to you from Tortimer after catching every bug in the game. Update from Regular Tool: Slightly larger than Silver Net.
Golden Fishing Rod How To Get: Given to you from Tortimer after catching every fish in the game. Update from Regular Tool: Fish see the lure from further away then the silver fishing rod, as well as fish staying on the lure longer before running away.
Golden Slingshot How To Get: Appears in 15th balloon after shooting down 15 balloons. Update from Regular Tool: As the silver slingshot fires two pellets into the air at once, the gold slingshot fires three pellets into the air at once.
Golden Watering Can How To Get: Get from Town Hall after having Perfect Town status for 15 days straight. Update from Regular Tool: Doesn't have the power that a silver watering can does, but turns wilted black roses into golden roses.
