I'm 65 years young and female, I am in the UK, I play every evening, I have only started playing two days ago so I have nothing and am trying to learn what I should be doing, any help or advice would be very much appreciated,I don't have a friend code yet but when I do I would love to visit other islands, thank you ....

Hey there, Carriedrift! Welcome to Animal Crossing and the community here! Did you just start playing Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Switch or another version?

As for advice - I would say become familiar with your town/island, explore the game during different parts of the day if possible.  Be sure to carry a net, fishing pole and shovel to collect various bugs, fish and buried items.  Take your time to play the game at your own pace, talk to all the villagers, talk to Tom Nook as well, he will try to steer you in the right direction. (but it will come at a price of bells)

If you have any questions specifically about what you have encountered so far, feel free to shoot them our way.  There's many friendly folks on the forum that would be happy to help. Feel free to send a direct message to me as well if you'd like and I will try my best to help you out!

Hello Carriedrift!

Welcome to Animal Crossing Community! My advice for any AC game is to take your time and enjoy it at your own pace. Don't let what you see online affect you negatively. It can sometimes feel overwhelming seeing other people's designs, but take it as inspiration in designing something unique to you and what feels right.

I would visit and deliver items, but I physically don't have my ACNH game where I live right now heh

Thank you Chuuster and Kix125 for the advice, I did play AC on the old DS and enjoyed it very much, I am looking New Horizons as well, it seems to be a great game but on a couple of occasions I have felt that I need to do things a bit quicker, especially paying back Nook and setting up the museum, I am going to try and take my time and enjoy it, thanks again for your advice 🙂
