I've been seeing a lot of new characters on amiibo cards lately on e-Bay.
I imagine they are from and to the New Horizons game ONLY,. And their amiibo is not compatible with HHD or New Leaf?
Some of the ones I've seen are: Ione, Judy, Audi, Sherb and others...

yes there were 48 new cards introduced a few months back. I'm not sure if old characters like isabelle would be compatible with the older games, but any newly added characters definitely are not

this is the official site that lists all the animal crossing amiibo. series 5 is the new set of cards.
