except not all therians are wolves, some can be dogs, cats, birds, etc, etc, etc, and then they could also be mythical animals like dragons, unicorns, etc.

i should also point out that there are technically 2 terms: therian is someone who identifies as a real animal, and an otherkin is someone who identifies as a mythical creature... dragons for example.

if anyone wanted to learn more about therians (and otherkin) i would suggest checking out this playlist of therian related videos by a therian youtuber i discovered.

be warned, they've got quite a strong belgian accent. so you might occasionally have a bit of trouble understanding it.
