I grew up with the original, as I think most children of the 90s did, and it had to be one of my favorite shows that ever aired. I always pictured myself running through Olmec's temple. So, imagine my surprise when I found out they were rebooting it. And there was also a bit of worry in there, since reboots tend to really screw things up compared to the source material.

So, after a few weeks of watching it, I find myself thinking it's...ok. I mean the old show is superior, in my opinion, but for what it is, I don't think the reboot is bad. The contestants are a bit obnoxious, and I think they took out some of the stakes by giving the team two pendants of life. But still, there's just something about watching them try to make it through the temple run.

But anyway, anyone watch this, and what are your thoughts on it?

I only know about the series due to a YouTube Poop I watched many years ago using it as the source material, I think cs188 made it? Idk, I thought it was pretty funny at the time but the show itself seemed interesting cuz game shows were peaking my interest as a kid

Be glad you never did, that show was more rigged than a Don King boxing match.
(They only gave away 8 wins over the entire show, because of budget reasons, so the producers intentionally made the Temple impossible to beat)
