I keep seeing people talk about this ACC 2.0 thing? I was just curious on what that was all about since I haven't been on this website since 2019. Is it going to be on a new domain, a new forum, or what is it going to be? I can't seem to find information anywhere so I think it is just best to ask.

It’s going to be on this website. It’s just going to be a redesign. The code as you can tell is very old, so it’s going to be more suited for this decade. I cannot give a timeline for when it will be done, though.

I have a question about 2.0, if anyone knows the answer.

The current code was build from the ground-up and that seems to have caused more difficulties when it came time to update it. Is 2.0 also going to be built from the ground-up, or will it be a "pre-set forum"?

For example (sorry to bring up our competition, in a sense , I know some of you guys are already familiar with this anyways) when TBT updated last year they used a generic forum set up that I've seen used on other sites. Even though it's pre-set they've been able to modify it in order to be able to have a bell shop, do games that require certain features, etc. and it also works on mobile and desktop.

Even though I would've thought it would be more limiting than custom making it it seems like it's helped in a lot of ways. Can we get any hints on what might be going on?

I wish I knew, but the best approach would be pre-set if I were them, as ground up can cause more bugs and glitches rather than a pre-set which will minimalize that when changing things.

I honestly did wish ACC had better stuff to do because sometimes the forum goes blank at times, and it can be quite frustrating since you are basically forced to get off just to check later to see if something happened.

It'd be nice to have periodic updates on whats happening, nothing to major just small things.
