I've been clearing space for my new farm! It's kind of hard to plan it out fully when we don't know how many things we'll be able to grow, but we know there'll be at least 5. I've got that space set up for the new ingredients (and my pumpkins have been moved there), and then once we know for sure how many ingredients there will be, I'll fill the rest of the space with a flower garden.
Also, setting up our new kitchens! Since we'll need those in order to cook. Although we don't know which kitchen objects allow cooking, we can start setting it up.
And some may also want to create a new display outside their museum?
If your Nook Miles are limited, maybe going after some of those goals, to get ready for Kapp'n boat rides.
I agree having space for the new crops is a great idea. I will most likely have a large area to grow a lot of them at first. Then try to use just a few in the "final" island design. I like collecting two of each flower type and have them displayed on the island. I also have a garden for the purple hyacinths and pink cosmos to use for crafting.
My kitchen was one of the only rooms that was kind of complete, but yes I have also decided to empty the rooms in my house so that I can have a blank canvas for all the new items. (I am still hoping for the Gracie Grace furniture, too!)
I have seen some people making their cafe areas next to the museums lately. I can not quite figure out the best spot for the museum. I have had it in at least 5 different spots!
YES! I am completing as many of the daily Nook Mile requests as possible. I have been trying to complete the Smile Isle one. I wonder if there will be new Nook Mile goals?
So that means on the first day of Animal Crossing my true obsession gave to me a reason to redecorate my kitchen! And on the second day, my true obsession gave to me a plan to gather Nook Miles!
I too am incredibly excited for the update. Gonna be great with all the new additions.
I'm trying to find a space to put my farm, but I haven't decided yet. My mom and I both share an island so two farms will take up a bit of space... I have a large zen garden I might remove. I also love the idea of revamping my kitchen for cooking endeavors.
Great idea for an outdoor cafe by the museum! I'd have to completely move and redo my museum design which would be a hassle. I really like it now, but it could be time for a change.
Also - it didn't look like we can make coffee for villagers like we could in ACNL did it? Maybe I missed it
Why, thank you I just compared it in my mind to Christmas and I counted on the calendar when it would be released and it was 12 days on that day! haha! I thought it was funny!
I like the idea of 2 farms on an island instead of one large one. Like maybe the smaller crops like carrots and tomatoes would look good in small areas as city gardens with decorations and by villager houses. And the sugar cane could be in larger areas with less decorations and more lined up or by a natural water source?
Yes, I did not think about the kitchen until the other post. All of household items are in storage now!
I hope one day my museum has a permanent spot! But it always seems to get moved again and again! Tom Nook LOVES when I redecorate the island!
As far as working for Brewster, there was not any confirmations or denials! I am hoping we can!!!
I also know that on Friday I am going to preorder the game so that is another task to complete for me! I am also thinking of creating a menu for that weekend so that I know I have food the can easily be made and eaten so that I can maximize my playing time! So far I can think of toddler foods like peanut butter and jelly and canned pastas! haha! I do not want to be in my "real" kitchen cooking when I can cook in my new kitchen! haha!
Yay justblogging! I am proud of your productivity!!
I mopped my real kitchens floor and put away all my furniture in my digital kitchen. I am also wondering if I should move my kitchen to the front room of my house so that I can cook without entering another room of the house OR even better should I create an outdoor cooking space??????? SO much fun to think about!!!!
On the fifth day of Animal Crossing my true obsession gave to me a real fridge stocked with iced coffee so that I have plenty of energy to stock my digital kitchen and cook all the new recipes! hahahah!
I just completed my farm area even dug the holes moved my pumpkin patch near them and am ready. I am storing up Nook Miles. I usually don’t bother with cutting down trees or planting trees and flowers since my island is basically done but now I look in the trash and buy flowers and trees as needed. Plant them and dig them right back up and sell them back. I get my nook miles right away.
Retired and Grandmom of 7 Great grandmom of 2
On the seventh day of Animal Crossing my true obsession gave to me an appreciation of the little details like foot steps as you run or the sound of the wind. I am looking forward to any of the little little details that were not mentioned in the Direct, but that we will all LOVE!!!
On the eighth day of Animal Crossing my true obsession gave to me the Halloween event! I wonder if we will ever get the April Fool's Day event back. I loved the "tricks" that had on those days! AND of course I loved earning the photos that way too!
On the eleventh day of Animal Crossing my true obsession gave to me a SURPRISE that the game will actually be updated 9 pm acc time on Thursday! (I have to be asleep then, but yay it is getting closer!)
