I will not say these user's usernames for obvious reasons, but I have found out about two users here who were not only banned, but their usernames cannot be clicked on from past posts or looked up to find a profile. I used to think that a permanently banned user's profile was still accessible, it's just that there was no way said banned user could log back in to his or her account. However, does this mean ACC has the right to delete profiles of banned users?

As you know we cannot discuss the status of other user accounts per rule 1.16, but just because some information may not be visible to you at this time does not always necessarily mean the information has been removed from ACC. It also may not be sufficient information for you to verify their account status. Any user in question would need to reach out to support@animalcrossingcommunity.com to inquire on the status or possible retention of their information.

But yes, ACC does reserve the right to remove content deemed of concern or objectionable. To protect the privacy of the individual the violation can only be discussed with the violator. Upon signing up for the site one must agree to the ACC TOS which states:

"We reserve the right to remove any content that is deemed objectionable or otherwise not in keeping with the family-friendly atmosphere and rules of the site. This holds true for the message boards, Trading Post, user profiles, Patterns, and all other sections of the site."

This does put a smile on my face.
