In an effort to be more understanding and inclusive of all members in our community, we have updated our long-standing username change policy. Previously, username change requests have only been granted in the case that a username contains personal identifiable information. We have now expanded this policy to also encompass usernames that contain personal names that a user may no longer be addressed as. The new username change policy in its entirety can be viewed as part of our FAQ.

If you feel you wish to have your username change, we ask that you please review and understand this policy before sending in a username change request to our Modmin Staff. In your request please clearly state why you wish to change your username, and what you would like to change your username to. The Modmins will still discuss all requests on a case-by-case basis to determine the compatibility of the request with our policy. We ask that you please be patient with our team as they get comfortable operating within the confines of this new policy, in addition to the added potential increase in requests that our team may need to address.
