this 0.01 donation never happened. can someone explain this to me

I’ve gone to your profile, and I cannot see that donation listed. I’m a bit confused here as it’s not appearing for me.

I might be wrong, FeraligatrFTW, but I think after COPPA came out back in the day and everyone had to pay 30c, they hid those small amounts so that they did not reveal individual's ages. Not 100% if that counts if its under 30c, but that's a possible reason as to why.
