Nothing has been added to this versions events for March?! 3 events, Hinamatsuri Festival was March 3rd, pi Day is today, and Shamrock Day is March 17th... why? I pt'd 2 people here about it, but nothing has been added.

That's just sad.. if NL can be updated, NH should be too! It's listed on NL's home web page under Island News updates. All events should be listed like NL.. not anything even noted about the Mario themed items.

I feel like NL's are still shown because they're the same event yearly, so whenever they were added in like 2013 (a guess, since that's when NL came out), they'll keep showing up

True that, especially Hinamatsuri stuck out to me cause it was like an "event" in ACNL but this time was just the 2 alternating items in the ABD lol like why were they alternating just have both at once... idgi
Not everything listed under NL is a true "event" like Festival etc, but these are things that are happening special on those days and should be listed the same way.. obviously it isn't a consideration to who posts for NH. Carson is probably right, the reason we're seeing ALL happenings under NL is because they were posted prior!

Notice how most of the events under the NL event tab have an NPC hosting something? That's what an event is. Mother's/Father's day are a special exception, because you just get a letter in the mail, but at least it's a character giving you something. Buying an item isn't an event, no matter how you look at it.
^^^ Agreed, like it may be a limited time special, but a single item with no interaction besides buying something from the Nook Shopping app isn't enough to warrant an entire "event" label.

All true, but still would be nice to see noted somewhere... more on Nintendo that they don't have anything like Isabelle going to the plaza in this version to do a little giveaway like in NL, to note it is a special day. They could've had her at least announce something on her morning speech.. just seems a waste to not make these special days noted except on update news. Oh well.
