It's not that I dislike them, but I want to keep rotating them out (after I get their pictures), y'know ?

I feel like if they have a high friendship level with you, they'll stay longer. I say this because the past two times I've had a camper, they've always picked a villager who I had not gotten a picture from to ask to move out...

Any info for me to ponder over?

it is true that villagers with high friendship are less likely to leave (this is confirmed through datamines), but if you want them to move out, there is a trick to get them out sooner

every day the game rolls for if a villager will ask to move out, and then it rolls for who wants to move out

assuming you have 10 villagers, the chance that somebody asks to move out starts at 50%, then goes up 1% every day until it maxes out at 80%

if a villager asks to move out and you say yes, the counter resets, and nobody will ask to move out for the next 15 days

if a villager asks to move out and you say no, the counter resets, and nobody will ask to move out for the next 5 days

now here's the trick: if you see a villager you want to keep in your town doing the thought bubble thing before you've spoken to them yet, wait for the blue saving wheel before talking to them. if they ask to move, close without saving before you answer the question. after that, don't talk to them for the rest of the day

the next day, the game will roll again to see if anybody asks to move, but because you didn't answer yesterday, the counter doesn't reset and you don't have to wait the 5 day period before someone asks again. the longer it's been since you last answered a move-out request, the more likely it is that someone will be thinking of moving the next day
