I recently had Redd so I made another account to get the other piece of authentic art. Today I deleted the second profile on my switch, but my second character still has a tent on my island. What do I do?

I just restarted the device and the tent is still here. Im really wishing I would have put the tent in my camping ground, but it’s somewhere random

In order to delete an AC:NH character, you need to open up the game with the correct Switch profile and press the "-" (minus) button on the main menu. Tom Nook will give you a few options for data management, one of which is to delete your character.

I'm not sure how to do it if you've deleted the Switch profile already. You may need to re-create the Switch profile in order to get back into the game.

Try using the "-" button while on the opening screen with your town representative. This should open up a different settings menu that I think gives you the option of removing a character who doesn't have a profile any more.

Thank you!!! Visiting settings as my representative gave me the option to delete my other character. Nook also said I could make another profile on my switch and opt in as the 2nd character, for anyone curious
