I want to know if there is a way to get villagers to move around the island more, the area in question is a little waterfall cafe I made. A bridge is nearby some homes that connect it to the cafe, but villagers rarely go there. Does anyone have any advice?

I don't believe there is any way of directly manipulating where villagers spawn, unless you did something really drastic like blocking off the rest of the island with furniture so that they can only spawn at the cafe. Assuming that you're trying to set-up for a photo, you could possibly try pushing the villagers there, stopping every so often so they don't get mad at being pushed around, and then once at the cafe try blocking them off with furniture until you can move the other villagers there too.

Here are some tips that helped me corral my villagers a bit:
- Set up items that you know would entice certain hobbies most prominent in your island: such as gardens or musical instruments
- Have a "bread crumb trail" of items that can be interacted heading towards your destination, this assists the villagers in their curiosity. These items don't have to be theme breaking, they can benches or even trees, but the more there is the more likely they'll visit.

A bread crumb trail sort of can work but if you go inside and come back out it can reset it. Even then it's iffy. I designed a park, that isn't exactly near anything like houses or other buildings and I've not once seen anyone go there but it's very accessible. It's kind of annoying. Basically my villagers (and everyone elses) like to stick around their houses or the Resident Services building. They still don't interact with a lot of stuff even if I place it around the RS area. I've had musical instruments placed out for weeks and they've only just now started to play with them recently. Then on top of that they only seem to go to the Microphone I placed rather than the synthesizer or saxophone lol
But be careful what we wish for because they already sit down in the way or on tree stumps right after you chopped the tree a lot it seems lol Judging by the videos I see online. What if they start using things more and then start getting in the way even worse?
