I understand that ACC does not "'delete' or 'terminate' accounts", according to the FAQ.

This policy may be in violation of Europe's GDPR regulations, at least for European users. I am not a lawyer, but this section seems relevant:

"The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:

[...]

(b) the data subject withdraws consent..."

If ACC reconsiders their policy (in light of this law or other reasons), I would like my account to be deleted and have my data removed.
