I invited a villager to move in so was prepared to start a new save file when I started playing today to ensure I could use the plot reset hack.
I only just found out that if you place paths down on the ground, when a villager moves in, they won’t put their plot on the paths.
But because I didn’t know this yesterday, I didn’t get a chance to put the paths down.
If I time travel back a day so I can put paths down, will that screw up the whole process of the new villager moving in? For example, if I time travel back a day (the day before the villager’s plot appeared) will their plot in fact be their already?
