Hi, I just have a question regarding the campsite on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. (I’m sorry if I’m posting this on the wrong forum) I have a villager (Pekoe) inside of the tent on the campsite, and I’ve been talking to her for twenty minutes, I’ve only played cards with her twice and won both, but she hasn’t given me the option to move in? She just keeps saying the same couple of sentences every single time.

Do you have an open plot that she could move into? In total, we can have 10 villagers at a time on our islands.

I think not every time they play they offer to move in, sometimes they just wanna play for an item reward so you gotta keep trying. also if you have less than 10 villager house plots and all of them are full, they might not offer until you build them a new plot

I got Cube by just constantly talking to him until he mentioned liking it on my island and then I was able to invite him to move in. Sometimes they just want to play games first.

You just have to keep pestering the camper until they talk about moving. They might refuse at first but they will eventually give in and you will have to win another car game. If you lose, just keep talking to them until they agree to play another game to determine if they move in. If you have no empty plots, they will randomly pick a villager to move in their place of. They won’t change their mind about who that villager will be if you say no and start the proceeds again. You’d have to quit the game without saving and replay, then the villager will pick a different villager.
