Hi, looking to see if anyone knows/has tried this.

My boyfriend has Ankha in his campsite today but is worried inviting her in will kick out one of his favorites. I know with amiibo cards you can pick who they kick out but I've read that if it's a random camper they'll kick out a random villager.

I once read somewhere on reddit someone was saying that if you invite them in but they say they're gonna kick out one of your favorites you can quit the game and try again until they kick out someone you don't like. But I haven't really heard of this method since then. Does it work? Has anyone tried it? I'm only worried about it's effectiveness cause of the autosave.

Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on it.

Quitting and exiting the game before it saves resets the villager they choose, as long as it's done before autosave. I think if you complain about a villager prior to asking them to move in, they're more inclined to kick that particular villager, although I'm not certain on that concept.

I've heard complaining to Isabelle doesn't really do anything, it's just to reset if they're wearing a custom design or using a custom catchphrase that's inappropriate/offensive/etc.

I've used a couple Amiibo cards to invite an animal to my campsite. I have been able to choose who moves out in order for the new animal to move in.

Not sure how it works with random visitors, though. Sorry.

foamblaster - With Amiibo cards, since you're choosing the camper, you get to choose who they kick out. With a random camper who chose to visit you, they get to randomly choose who to kick out.

I didn't know until yesterday that Campers can move out villagers. I didn't  think that in NL they were able to kick someone out if there was not availability. But now, campers can kick out  Villagers. That's good to know and now I am a little butt hurt because I had Agnes in my Town on Monday at the campsite and I didn't think I could ask her to move here due to having a full island. Good to know!

Cube came to my campsite and agreed to move in. It took three tries of resetting to get him to choose the right villager, but now he's one of my villagers.
