So I note in the recent announcement that there are rules & guidelines being prepared for the NH Offering & Looking For Boards. Please can I enquire as to when those will be ready, as I'm regularly seeing a lot of topics being started on one board when they should probably be on the other?

Personally, I'm not sure that adding the extra board was necessary, especially as activity post-New Horizons has "passed its peak". I would've preferred the same format as with NL ("Item Trading and Villager Trading" boards) for consistency. However, now that the changes have been done we could do with clear guidelines as soon as possible. I've already seen dozen of topics that have been, based on the new regulations, posted on the incorrect board. One example is people who are looking to trade items - theoretically that could go on either board as they are looking for items but also offering something too. Clearly this is throwing some people off and causing confusion.

Please can we also consider having stickies for NH topics, such as people "Looking For Fruit" and "Turnip Prices" - surely that would help tidy up the boards a bit and make easier for members, particularly newer ones, to navigate around.

There are always going to be occasions where people post on the wrong board, no matter what. However, I think the new changes have increased the number of posts on wrong boards and people being unsure where to post. Please can we have some more clarity, by way of a rules & guidelines thread for each board, at the earliest convenience?

Hi Asho! Thank you for voicing your concerns! We're hoping to get the rules and guidelines for these boards out by the beginning of June. I think they will clear up a lot of your questions. As for the overlap, there are cases of that and those will be mentioned in our board rules. In short, it really comes down to the wording of the thread. If someone is looking for items, but at the same time offering up items themselves this could theoretically live on both boards, but if the emphasis is on items they are looking for it would go on that board (it that makes sense ). Like I said out guidelines and rules will, I think, clear that all up for you.

As for the stickies for the NH topics (like the ones you've mentioned) I'll bring that up with the other Modmins! Thanks!
