Hey all, don't know if this has been posted or proposed before?

My brother and I are still in search of the ironwood dresser recipe (we have almost the whole set otherwise!) and have been using amiibo campers for a chance at an extra recipe most days.

What I have noticed (could just be a complete coincidence) that villagers of certain personalities seem to be giving us the same recipes (for example, we both got the beekeepers hive from a jock/sporty villager personality type). Also twice I've had the ironwood cupboard set from a snooty villager, and a clothesline from a cranky villager.

Is there any evidence to back this up via datamining or other people's anecdotal experiences? Don't know if I'm just being hopeful

this is true! the ironwood dresser comes from snooty villagers. if you search for recipes on this site, it'll tell you who gives what

I can only see crafting when I click on stuff and nothing related to personality types? Don't know if because I'm viewing on a mobile device (although I clicked view desktop page and still can't see it?)

in the top left corner, click the drop down that says furniture and scroll down to recipes. under that tab it shows personality types

I've been recently hearing about that. Thanks for bringing up yhe subject. Good to know.

I learned this from the official guide that I finally got last week.  I only have one snooty in my town, and she's never given me that recipe.  Now, every time I see that she's crafting, I get my hopes up, only to have them cruelly dashed.

Meanwhile, I've gotten several of the other ironwood recipes multiple times, though I've gotten most of those from message bottles or balloons.
