I'm really frustrated. We get plenty of room for pro designs and that's great, but I don't know why they give us so little room for tiles to decorate our island. Especially considering that if you delete a tile, it deletes it anywhere you've put it on your island =/

And ESPECIALLY since other players on your island have  to share the same tiles.


I mean, I would even pay to have more room!! Just let me go wild with ideas, Nintendo.

I completely agree with this, and not only for patterns but for storage as well... Like why would you have to limit us? It's not like the game lacks memory or something similar, it's just stupid. Maybe don't let carry 200 patters around, but at least make it so Sable or Mable can store patterns for us...

Sable "holding" onto patterns for us is a really good idea.

Question about this:

so if I was to create a second player on my island, would they have the same custom patterns that my main player has (a full inventory of patterns   )?  I was thinking about making a second one thinking it would open up space for more custom design options. Would that not work?

It's bizarre to me that the game would have so many customizable items, but there is such a low limit on custom patterns... I see so many cool ones I'd love to use, but I just have NO space now without getting rid of patterns I already am using somewhere.

I never need so many patterns anymore, not since before NL. But I can see how it's annoying that everyone has to share the same patterns still. Like why not at least have it be unique.

I REALLY like the Sable patterns though, but it seems to be kind of tough to find a lot of things to use them on considering how many she gives you. I've only found a handful of things that will take a pattern that I can use at the moment.

p00psoup, nope I tried the same thing.  

At first I saw the Pro designer app and thought "great, I have a bunch space for patterns, and maybe the Able Sisters storage is large enough", then I realized that they don't save designs anymore. The final nail in the coffin was that all players SHARE THE SAME PATTERNS. That is baffling to me, that wasn't an issue in past games
