I am in southern hemi too. I havent gotten any mushroom DIYs yet from balloons but I think that's what they are for.

Fall equivalent to cherry blossom stuff I think

I'm also at Southern Hemisphere and I have mushrooms all over the place! I've got one mushroom recipe through ballon! I guess we have to wait for more to pop out of the sky, Or maybe villagers can give us some too...
