I time travel rampantly and have only had maybe 3 in the game including the first mandatory one. I’m missing 2 personality types on my island and was hopping to fix that but I’m also pretty selective about my villagers. The percent chance of getting a camper seems to be pretty low from what I’ve seen, so I’m wondering about others experiences

Not counting the guaranteed camper I've only had 2 in my town, with my second one being the camper I currently have today.

I've only had 2 natural campers (not counting my amiibo ones): Lopez and Axel.

yeah I've had three + the mandatory one. I haven't time traveled and it was probably about a month ago that I got my mandatory camper, so probably 2-3 campers a month

I don't time-travel, and aside from the mandatory camper (and ignoring some Amiibo usage), I've only had one "natural" camper. I've been playing since launch-day on March 20th.

Yikes, it's kinda too slow. I've had zero except the forced one. But that's because I've used Amiibo cards every day since I got the campsite, which was the first natural day it was available. I just ran out of cards to use today. I got a lot of DIYs out of them I didn't have but almost half asked for stuff I already had. I also had to use 6 days, 3 and 3 for Zucker & Chow to move in. Guess finding a random one by chance takes forever A friend I play with has only had 2 since day 1.

I just got my first 'natural' camper since my forced camper experience. I've been playing since March 30th, so I wonder if the campsite is even required anymore? I don't have amiibo cards, what's the point?
