I'm going for an oriental themed town so I'm trying to get villagers that fit the theme, but Nintendo changed some of their house interiors so they dont really fit this anymore. So villagers like Zucker and Rory dont actually have a TRUE oriental themed house anymore, with only sparse decorations that give that vibe. I just wanted to get a list from people who have these types of villagers in their town and can say first hand what the interiors of their houses look like so i know who to look out for. I visited Soleil's house at a friend's town, hers sounds like what you are looking for. It was all red interior with lots of japanese-style items.
