for an item you can grind out infinitely about every 15 minutes and ultimately, the payoff for said item is 95% not worth the trip, for the life of me i cant figure out why people are putting the value they are on them.

can someone tell me why an item that sells for 10k at nooks is worth a penny more than that?

I couldn't figure this out either, because I will use NMT maybe once a week if I'm running low on iron nuggets.

But someone here explained that people are using them to go to islands to find their favourite villager. So they may have to go through 50 islands or whatever to find what they want.

Personally, I think it's madness, and I don't understand why people are trying to rush through the game and get their perfect island all at once. It's only been out for a MONTH!! Take your time, everyone!!
