So I finally met Celeste last night and she gave me the recipe for a wand. I've been checking for awhile, but I have not been able to see any shooting stars. I figured with Celeste in town, I would last night. I waited for an hour with my character looking up at the clear sky, and didn't see one. It was around 9:30pm-10pm.

Does anyone have advice for that in this game? Are there better times?

They're very rare at any time there is a clear night, but if you talk to your villagers during the day and they mention falling stars, there will be guaranteed a big starshower for a few hours that night, starting at 7pm.

It's seems rare (from my experiences). I've only encountered one night with shooting stars. It doesn't need to be a completely clear sky, I've seen videos on youtube where shooting stars occur on semi cloudy nights. Just keep looking up is unfortunately the only advice I can give.

I tend to find hem at least once a week. Sometimes two nights in a row.

They always appear for me when celeste is in town, though usually after midnight if it's clear.

Having sound on is a good idea so you can listen out for a twinkle soundm miss one and another will appear... maybe even 4-5

It may not matter, but i did notice more stars seem to shoot near the town hall, so maybe the angle your facing matters? Remember to have empty hands and also keep watching, they come in wave's and if you can look up for half an hour you may get 4-5 waves totalling 10-15 stars. I have the vlume up, do other things and listen out for the sound.

Thanks, everyone. I may have spoke too soon. The night after I posted this question, I saw a ton of shooing stars. They tend to appear the night of or the night after Celeste appears in my town. Also, I've noticed that they really show up in full force after 11pm (I tend to be a late night player as it's the only time I have to play). I still haven't received a recipe yet from Celeste for the astrology furniture, and so I hope she gives it to me the next time as I found a Taurus fragment a couple nights ago.
