And did you like them? So I got my campsite up and my first villager is....CHOPS. I don't like him at all! I will wait until he leaves. Such a disappointment.

I'm afraid that you have no choice - the first camper has to be invited to live in your town before you can get any others!
Anyway, my first one was Chadder, and I really like him.

I'm pretty sure my first ever villager I invited in NH was Eugene. I honestly don't know why I invited him, but im very glad that I did! He's so smug and when new villagers come he always says "NOOB ALERT!" He's great
