Is it possible to take my turnips to another island, drop them all off, return to my island, time travel, return to the current time, and then retrieve my turnips from the other island? Or will they spoil if I do that?


I thought I had demolished a bridge yesterday, but turned on today to see it was still there. It's stopping me from terraforming my island. Problem is, I spent all my bells on turnips. I want to go back to yesterday, try demolishing the bridge again, and then return to normal time, but I don't want all of those turnips to spoil.

If you mean a friend’s island for them to look after while you time travel, that will work but only for the week until they spoil. So if you bought them on Sunday 12th April, they will still spoil on the 19th, regardless where they are.

If you time travel with turnips they automatically spoil, even if it’s by one day of going forea4 and then back.

One trick in Wild World especially was to place them inside on tables

However, I have no idea if this works in New Horizons yet, so try this at your own risk

Also worth noting that for other islands they would have to not time travel, and be on the same date as you when you got there, although those glitches applied to previous games and haven’t been tested in NH yet so again, test at your own risk
