Hey everyone! I’m in the process of remodeling my island and I can’t stand waiting a whole day for a bridge or incline to be built.

I am against time traveling to gain bells or to upgrade/unlock shops, but is it wrong to time travel a day and go back just to have a bridge built? My conscience is killing me.

Thoughts?

I have the same problem too. I try not to think about it. But if you want, go ahead. Reminder, make sure you don’t have any turnips if you do time travel.

I wouldn't do it. I know it's frustrating to wait, but at least you will have a clear conscience!

Otherwise, you may end up regretting it.

If I time travel a day, will that rot my turnips?

It's not "wrong" but it may hurt your enjoyment of the game. I haven't time traveled in AC:NH and don't plan to because I think waiting is part of the game and if I skip some of the waits I know I'll get bored much more quickly.

In previous games, backwards time travel rotted turnips but forward was fine, as long as you didn't advance far enough that they'd rot anyway. I would assume that's the same here but I'm not sure.

If you time travel backwards or to Sunday, it rots your turnips, but going forward doesn't rot them. So if you are going to give in and time travel, then if you have turnips you will either want to sell them on the day you jumped to, or wait it out until a good price comes up before jumping backwards.
