I'm aware of the future *Event* updates, but that's not what I'm asking about at all. I'm asking about general content updates (such as new shops/furniture/islands/characters etc), or quality of life updates? Generally aware that what I was able to find on google, you all probably found as well, but maybe there is an obscure "possibility" article that I didn't get my hands on yet?

Also, what is the point of doing Label's task for the day? Does she eventually unlock something other than just giving me a clothing ticket and a piece of her clothes? Or kicks, or... anything really? Is it really just the Museum, the Able Sisters, Timmy & Tommy, and the Residential Center? I'm feeling underwhelmed. This is my favorite game series by far, and I'm just not as in love with New Horizons as I was any other version, and I want this to be a game I play for years almost daily like the other ones...

I think nintendo is going the way of ongoing content updates for a lot of their games now. they've done it with splatoon, smash bros, mario tennis, kirby, maybe a couple others I'm forgetting. it looks like AC is just next in line for that treatment. AC seems like the perfect game to do it with too, since it's built to be the kind of game that lasts a long time, plus in the past a lot of the interest in the game dies out as soon as the next big game comes out. rolling updates can help maintain longterm interest in the game, which will help boost long-term sales. since AC is a very social game, you want that large active user base to stick around as long as possible.

We know we are getting the next one, likely within the next 11 days, considering Earth Day is on the 22nd. I'm sure they'll announce it and give us details on what the new features are. Judging by what villagers are saying, its possible this update might include The Roost and the museum art gallery, likely with Crazy Redd returning. Its also possible we could see stuff like bushes return. Hoping we'll hear something soon.

I heard rumor of Leif returning for Earth Day. I would be ecstatic if he returned and the event was my ability to set up a shop. Though, that is HIGHLY unlikely, since Nintendo absolutely hates releasing content that is only available for the people who could play at that time that would be important to the game.

If Leif returned for Earth day, and there were requirements for a shop, and all the yadda yadda, it just makes me really feel like he wouldn't be back for an event time period.

And I did happen to see the talk about Redd and the art museum. I really hope that wasn't just someone manipulating the text, though it really didn't seem like it! Ohh, I'd be so excited to have the roost come out and all the original characters we've grown to love.

I'm still hoping for a Dream Suite at some point -- though it would make sense to release that in a few months when most of the early purchasers of the game have terraformed their islands and made their towns up really nice.
