I grew my own bamboos by planting shoots. They grew and gave me one harvest of shoots and now its been almost a week without a second sprout. Anybody knows what's happening?

yeah the same thing happened to me. I know the way bamboo grew in NL was a major annoyance to a lot of people, so I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it so bamboo wouldn't take over your town

I agree about bamboo's in NL, but t least make it so it'll sprout shoots once a week. Once in their life spawn seems extreme.

I dug up the full grown trees and planted them in my island and I haven't gotten a single bamboo shoot, I was wondering what was up with that

Ive recently planted bamboo so still waiting for a outcome on the sprouting. I hope its more frequent than just a one time thing

So then... that means...

You can never have more shoots than you started out with.

Ex: started with 4 shoots, planted them, grew fully, created 4 new shoots.

I could leave them to grow, and they'd create 4 new ones. Or I could unbury and keep them, and they wouldn't grow.

Ugh that kinda sucks. They need to fix that.

Ugh. That explains a lot then. Guess that means I can chop the ones I took down.
So basically if we ever need more shoots, we have to find the bamboo island again.

That's pretty awful when there's furniture that crafts out of bamboo shoots.

Oooof and I gave a way a bunch of my shoots thinking that they just respawn!
