I'm really gutted about this egg day stuff... every time I go to catch a fish, it's a damn egg. I hear a balloon its and egg. bottles? egg. fossils? egg. I hate the design of the egg stuff and the whole experience is ruining my New Horizons mojo.

While I sound like a scrooge, there is a flipside for those of you that like it. i will give my eggs to anyone who wants them... and any left over DIY cards that i didn't learn.

I'm not a fan of most of the Egg furniture items either, so nearly all the holiday DIY cards that I'm getting are being left in front of my airport for visitors to come pick up. =P

I only seem to find fish when I’m looking for sea eggs
While you can’t get rid of the floating egg presents, you can guarantee a fish spawn by using bait

Incase you have any earth and/ or leaf eggs left I would love to get them of your hands

I don't mind it yet, but I'm over halfway done with crafting the egg stuff, and there's still over a week to go, so I know I'll get real fed up of it real soon.

I agree, I'm trying to pay for improvements/relocations, I'm sick of the eggs!  But the eggs sell for 200 bells each, it's nice that they at least stack so like eggs only use one slot.  

Yesss, at least they stack!  I also am not fond of these eggs and items, especially now while we’re trying to build up our towns and houses.

Has anyone received cherry blossom recipes? I prefer those designs, and have 90 petals ready to go, but not a single recipe. These are limited to 10 April.

Yeah, the cherry blossom stuff is nice. I have a few but no doubles. Happy to craft for you. Ones im on the lookout for is the lantern, bonsai and pondstone. Will trade!

Oh one tip to get diy is to walk into villagers homes. They're sometines making something and give you the recipe

This Egg Day thing has been pretty annoying. I like that it’s lengthened so that other people can experience it, but those eggs can be annoying when I fish them up.

I just wanna FISH!  Enough with the eggs already!  

They should've made Water Eggs wash up on the beach like shells. Would've been less disruptive to people's fishing.

Yeah! or even just available at certain times of day... Or the best idea would be when the rabbit tells you about egg day, he asks if you wanna participate :-P

I wish they had at least limited the number of water and sky eggs you could catch. I’m trying to pay off a bridge and a house. Should i sell these eggs, or are we going to need them on 12 April? I visited another island today in hopes that there wouldn’t be any eggs, WRONG! What a waste of nook miles, they didn’t even have any fruit trees, other than coconuts. To top it off, they had flowers that I already have. I’m NOT visiting another island until this event is over.

Haha. I love how political this is getting. Screw the system.

Ive had sone pretty lame runs of island tours too. Made worse by water bugs making it difficult to spawn tarantulas.

In the end i just stockpile flowers.

I've also caught more fish since the update... although generally sea bass more like a c+. Now just need more cherry blossom recipes to reveal themselves

I don't like most of the recipes (final egg outfit excluded because it's cute) and I now have no use for these eggs.

The furniture is cute but it's not particularly the look I'm going for.

I much prefer the cherry blossom stuff but it's harder to catch the petals and I can only find one recipe.

I got all the cherry blossom recipes except the wall paper. Happy to craft anything for you if you bring me the ingredients

I had the same gripe about the eggs lasting so long... on the upside I made a bunch of Bunny Toys and sold them... but yeah, I wish I'd been able to find more of the cherry blossom recipes. I was gutted I only got 5 of them. I was hoping to craft a bunch of lanterns but alas never found the recipe. I have the worse luck with "random" things its unbelievable.

At the same time there is something positive to this lasting a week. If you're busy and you don't have a lot of time, at least they give you a lot of slack to try and collect these items versus squirming around for only one day that you could easily miss like in new leaf? I think I will appreciate that in the upcoming events, well at least I hope so, we'll see I guess!

It's true, I agree. It's a poor choice in having these events overlap.
