I've been fishing constantly alllll day (all week actually!) and haven't really had much luck getting rare fishies. It's been raining about 50 percent of the time this week but still nothing that great. I am sick of fishing. I never want fish again.

Except tonight something changed... I have had such amazing luck for the past two hours! Ive caught THREE Celocanths, an Oar fish, some weird bug-eyed fish, and tons of red snappers and knife jaw thingies.

Is this normal?! Are certain hours or days better to fish on than others?

Well coelacanth is only in the rain, you may just be lucky today!

I caught 2 corlacanths on my island for the first time last night too.

It probably that it was raining for about half a day. Lol

generally night time and rainy days are better times to fish, so rainy nights are the best time to fish. if I've caught all the fish for the month, I don't even bother fishing most of the time if it hasn't gotten dark yet

if you're playing in the northern hemisphere , then march isn't exactly a great month to fish anyway. each month will get progressively better as we head towards summer
