I was clicking through the tabs in my DIY catalogue, and I noticed that all the recipes that use young spring bamboo are under the seasonal tab. is young spring bamboo a seasonal item only available in spring? (it sounds kind of obvious in hindsight, young SPRING bamboo ) if you're in the southern hemisphere, have you been able to harvest young spring bamboo at all?

I wondered that myself. I've only been to one bamboo island with my southern hemisphere island and only got regular bamboo. There's only one bamboo on my island, which is rarely thumped, but I've yet to get any young bamboo, so it's likely.

Young bamboo doesn't drop much for my northern hemisphere island either. There are 9 bamboo there, which sometimes gets thumped when I need to fulfill the Chop Wood objective, and I always get way more regular bamboo.
