And finally, Nintendo UK's official online store has revealed their offerings - you get the choice of a set of tan/sepia-coloured pins of the faces of Tom Nook, Isabelle, and K.K. Slider, or the same tote-bag that GAME is offering.
They're also offering various hardware bundles that include the game, the pins, the tote-bag, a plain Switch or Switch Lite case, and your choice of Switch or Switch Lite from the selection of available colours (Neon Blue/Neon Red or grey for the standard Switch, which is the revised model with the longer battery-life, or yellow, turquoise, or grey for the Switch Lite).
There isn't any sign of Animal Crossing-themed hardware (yet? ), but that doesn't necessarily mean that it won't happen.
There's still no news on bonuses elsewhere, but Amazon UK has revealed theirs, and it's a microfibre cleaning-cloth featuring the Animal Crossing: New Horizons logo, various icons, and the faces of Fauna, Peanut, K.K. Slider, Hamlet, Bunnie, Aurora, Isabelle, Tom Nook, Rosie, Stitches, Timmy, and Tommy.
Interestingly, what appears to be a message-in-a-bottle can be seen at the bottom-left of the cloth! I wonder if this is a sign of that long-lost feature returning?
I'm holding off on pre-ordering the game until I know for certain that they won't have a special edition Switch or something. I don't currently have a Switch but New Horizons will be the sole reason I get one.
The again, I might just have to pre-order the game soon. I wouldn't want to be victim of Nintendo's game shortages on launch day because of my poor decision-making.
French retailer Micromania has revealed an additional pre-order bonus on top of what they're already offering: A one-month Nintendo Switch Online trial, presented in the form of a boarding pass for the Nook Inc. Deserted Island Getaway Package.
