I forget who it was I was talking about this with, but a while back I was discussing with someone on here how english and japanese animalese sounds different. english animalese is generated by reading out the english letters very fast, and japanese animalese does something similar with japanese characters
anyways, with the new commercial that came out, I was able to make a video directly comparing the two if anybody is interested
^I don't speak a lick of japanese and I don't really watch a whole lot of anime, but I've watched enough subtitled anime that the japanese animalese definitely sounds recognizably japanese to me. I linked the japanese video to a friend in the middle of the night and wrote "don't worry about turning on the volume, it's all japanese" before realizing wait, it's not even any human language at all
I don't know if anybody else experiences this, but whenever I watch fan made videos where they write their own text and overlay random animalese, it immediately sounds wrong to me because the animalese isn't matching the text. obviously I don't expect random people to recreate the proper animalese for their 30 second joke videos, but still
