Hi! I recently found out how to use wiimfi to get wifi on my wii! Does anyone want to play ACCF with me? I started a new town and am looking for friends. The only other person I play with right now is my brother. Let me know and I'll send you a FCR!

I've heard of wiimfi but never set it up myself. Is it difficult?

Honestly, my brother set it all up for me! I believe there are some tutorials on Youtube. It doesn't seem too difficult!

I looked it up and it doesn't seem too bad. If I get it working I'll let you know. I haven't played ACCF in ages... I can't imagine what my town must look like!

Lol, okay! Good luck. I know, I actually logged onto my game and the new town screen popped up... Not sure what happened to my old town, but maybe that's something I didn't want to see!

Well, I loaded my town for the first time in aaaages. I also updated my ACCF catalog here on ACC so it's up to date. I also tried out a method for going online in ACCF, got it working and opened my gates. So I'm all setup/ready for future game sessions. I just sent you a friend request.

I have Wiimfi set up on my Wii - and have actually just found my Wii Speak which I thought had been binned during my last redecorating spree (instead it had been shoved into a bag with christmas decorations - despite never being used...)

I should be able to be up for some online play.

By all means.  I haven't gotten around to adding anyone from here yet as I'm not sure who's currently active - and my Wii is in another room so I need to write down the friend code stuff then head through the other room.

I finally got my friend code from Wiimmfi today so that's working.  It's also Day 1 of playing City Folk and I lucked out: Nook had the Fishing Rod, Shovel, and Bug Catching Net, the holy grail of the trifecta of useful tools on day 1.  NICE.  Now I gotta worry about the others, like the slingshot.

I've already registered my Friend Code on the database here AND on Wiimmfi (so my name "RetroGuy" shows up on the server lists when I'm on-line), but I don't have any friends yet to play with (I only just got the game).

I am too.  But you gotta put your game's Friend Code into the database.  Look to the left of the window and find "My Friend Codes" and put them in there.  Then those of us here who play City Folk and play on Wiimmfi can connect up with you.
