I opened this game back up to see if I could find a player with jack's puppet theatre so I could record the audio, but I got roped back into playing it again. I'm going to try and force myself to quit after all the halloween events are over, but in the meantime I'd appreciate some more active friends
my friend code is 8868 2509 337
and ofc if you have jack's puppet theatre, let me know! I'm still trying to record the audio from it

Thanks for adding me, Jess! just wondering, would you be willing to move Jack somewhere where there's no background noise long enough for me to get a clean recording? inside your camper would be perfect if you temporarily put away the windmill. it'd be a big help!

oh I just checked and saw you moved him a few moments ago right before I checked ACC. I was worried you had moved him a few days ago and I had left you waiting
unfortunately he doesn't show up inside the camper for some reason? so no music is playing at all. the bottom right corner of your campsite would probably work, I'd just have to hope that nobody is drinking coffee in that chair.

of course kiki decides to drink a soda RIGHT next to jack but I took a long recording and I'm pretty confident I can edit her out by chopping up some bits and doing a bit of a patch job with it. thanks so much for your help!

here's the upload. apparently android devices don't let you directly record audio output to prevent piracy, so I had to use my built in mic on my laptop to record it so the quality isn't as good as it could be, BUT it sounds good enough to me on my built in speakers and that's where I intend to listen to it from.
I need to say that I completely understand getting roped back in haha I've got a new phone and decided to download the app, made a completely fresh account as my last one was all over the place, my leaf tickets also wouldn't have been transferred as it was Android > iOS and now I am back in again! I did promise myself that I won't be spending any money though and I am treating the game like a normal Animal Crossing game! I just log on, do some requests, talk to animals, do the event and log off. I am ignoring all mentions of leaf tickets and "Buy now" haha, I just collect the free leaf tickets and only spend it on things that I am sure I like.. this means I am also ignoring fortune cookies unless they are for bells haha
I am sorry I rambled on a lot
If you are still playing the game and would like more friends please feel free to add me! Even though I don't spend money and take this game like any other AC game I do still send bugs to people and help out! ID: 8549 1439 697
luckily I'm pretty good at saving up leaf tickets. I had a few thousand free ones saved up, but when I started getting bored with the game I spent them all trying to get the first floor length dress from a fortune cookie to see how it looked animated on a walking character. I didn't get the dress so I just quit. first thing I did when I got back into the game was buy a leaf ticket bundle, which is not really the smartest thing when I'm planning to quit again
now I'm fully sucked back in. I leave for a trip on friday and I'm super hoping there won't be a surprise gardening event that starts before november 5th because I'll either be anxious about missing bugs, or get sucked into my game and be anxious about missing the end of my trip. I think I'll be able to handle that candy hunt event coming up at least
also we had a huge snow storm a few days ago, so now I'm feeling festive and considering sticking around through christmas. New Horizons can't come and free me from this pocket purgatory fast enough

Chiyoko Honestly I sometimes wish that I never gotten a new phone, I had an Samsung S7 that was breaking apart and could barely play the game, now I have the iPhone 11 and it plays the game really well which is a curse as it makes me want to play more lol!
I used to buy packs on my old account and never got anything good, I also spent on fortune cookies and honestly it made my experience worse because I never got what I wanted to. This is usually how I stop myself from buying packs.. I like to focus on amenity levelling to distract me from the microtransaction aspect, I just set collecting materials and getting all amenities and all villagers as my goal rather than any items and collections.
Don't worry too much about the gardening event! I do events at my own pace without leaf tickets and actually always manage to complete them and I don't even log on everyday! So definitely do not feel like you need to spend the tickets to get all the items.
I think Nintendo is a bit scared of this game dying when New Horizons comes out, I am sure the popularity of this game will fall! The thing this, the game has been becoming so much micro transactions focused lately.. I think because they want to get the last bits of money out of the game before Horizons.
I am of course planning to play a TON of New Horizons and can't wait for it!!
But....I really really hope Pocket Camp keeps going! Yes the micro transactions are annoying and yes sometimes i get annoyed at myself for spending money on leaf tickets, however i just love having ACPC in my pocket with me at all times. Sometimes I log on and just look at my camp, send kudos to people and log off but just knowing its there and that I can have fun decorating my campsite, my cabin and my camper makes me happy.

Adult Gamer who loves animal crossing <3 I am a fairly quiet person.
Please don't run in my town or steal my flowers.
Try as I might I just can't get in to the non-portable editions of the game. Well City Folk...I don't know if I would have played that long term anyway but that's another story.
Anyhow, I am really glad I decided to wait to get the Switch so that I can play the new game via the solely portable Switch Lite. Even if the game is great, there's still something that's a pain about having to go to a room, turn on the console, load up the game etc. that would make me play less. I feel like if I am going to go through all of that I need to play at least an hour or so. And if there's nothing to really do that can be tedious.
It's weird - I've never felt like I've ever wanted to stop playing/haven't been hooked. Ever event pulls me in, even checking my fortune cookies everyday gets me pumped
