I'm planning on getting a new phone soon, and I was wondering about transferring the data to my new phone. I have read that the leaf tickets you buy won't be carried over, and another source saying you have to log out of my Nintendo account and log onto the new phone so it'll be fine. But I'm just asking to anyone who has done it and what they did. I just don't want to lose anything.

Well, I would say having Pocket Camp linked to your Nintendo Account will help a lot when transferring.

My only experience is with Miitomo when I upgraded my phone 2 years ago, same with Pokemon GO, as I had linked my Nintendo account and my Google account to them, respectively.

I had everything there once I logged in from my current phone onto those apps, as if I was playing those games normally. So chances are, by having the account linked to Pocket Camp, all of your data, bar Leaf Tickets, will be carried over. So get those LTs spent before doing so.

Ok. Thanks. And when you talked about Miitomo and Pokémon Go, do I have to spend my pokecoins so I don’t lose them when the transfer happens? I know Pokémon Go just has you log into either a google or Facebook account and not a Nintendo one, so it might not matter, but I just want to be sure. And does this tip apply to the other apps? (Dr. Mario World, Mario Kart Tour, Pokemon Masters, etc.)

Please be aware that Leaf Tickets purchased on a specific operating system cannot be used in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on a different operating system"

if you're changing to a phone with the same opperating system, I'm pretty sure all you need is to have a nintendo account linked and you can transfer everything over with little issue. if you're going from apple to android or from android to apple (or whatever other OS you might have), it looks like you might lose your leaf tickets.

The best thing you can do is make sure you have your Nintendo account linked up to Pocket Camp. Back in February I had to upgrade my IPhone 7 to a IPhone XR and everything got saved when I transferred over. I’m not sure if the leaf tickets you buy will transfer over as well because I’m not sure if I bought leaf tickets or not back then but it’s worth a try to do.

I was going to ask the same question. I have an iphone 8, but the on/off switch doesn't work. My husband wants me to take it to Apple get looked at before the Applecare expires in Nov.

Does anyone know if i have to log out of the game on my current system before i try to transfer it? If they decide to replace the phone I need to be prepared before I go get it worked on.

I already have the game Nintendo account linked. I am all nervous, I have worked so hard on my town.

I just recently got the new iphone and everything transferred seamlessly just fine from my old iphone. I was going from iphone 8 to iphone 11 and just used the file transfer within the phone's operating system. Just make sure you back up your old phone first.
