I don't understand how this stupid thing works. I'm trying to add two crates to the Coconut Island and I get a message that I can only add one. How am I supposed to get to the proper # of points? I'm going to avoid this whole mess altogether. Also, after I sent an export to one island and it returned, I have to spend my leaf tickets to get more than one souvenir? What a ripoff!!!! It seems that Nintendo is just looking for more ways to get us to put out more money for leaf tickets. Just like in the Blathers games! Yet another ripoff.
I agree do not like it at all. After filling up the three islands I got back money I don’t need money I wanted the animals. So hard to figure out. To much crafting just using up my resources then it takes the ships days to come back. If you pick a gift you have to buy another with leaf tickets. Bring the old way back to get snacks.

I hate the "new" Gulliver, too. It's much harder to get the animal maps, the package crafting system is horrible (each package requires friend powder to craft), and most of the rewards just don't seem worth the trouble. (Not to mention that you can't donate unwanted furniture anymore...)
I agree I hate the new gulliver system to. After messing with it some, I just decided to ignore it. I don't want to quit the game so idk what else to do.

Totally agree - the new Gulliver is horrible! It's way too complicated and now what's the point of buying the FCs unless the special ones are offered?? I don't really like the new characters anyway, so I'm just going to ignore for now. So annoying!!

Jumping in with the 'dislike' in changes to shipping/exporting of materials. Filling the ship wasn't complicated, click on one item and add to the ship then click on the next item and add to the ship. The cost for shipping is listed so you don't have to send a top-dollar item with each item. It is most maddening that after spending our bells on items we then have to spend our 'cash', be it earned or purchased, it is very greedy on Nintendo's part or the game developer's part. Whoever decided this a 'good' idea was having a thoughtless moment!
I sent all the boats off and away, I purchased all content within upon their return... I reset the islands. I have been playing this game since it was released so I have the critters, I have the clothes, I have all of the items, the island trade isn't very useful to me. The least they could have done was to give a way to sell all the extra clothing and knickknacks !

If they would have only fixed Animal Tracks with this urgency.
First off I will agree I did not like the switch. I did not mind losing the Friend Dust since I am over 6K (I don't do the Camper game or Buncha Bell Maps often). I didn't mind not getting treats like the old version. I much prefer leveling my animals up thru helping them out. I did not like losing Sparkling Gems & Leaf Tickets.
My first island went okay. Then I did the big Island and received Bells (I fluctuate between 1M-1.7M) & 3 other items that were nothing special/ not a Villager Map. That is when I stopped. I heard on Chuey Plays, he mentioned Nintendo was reviewing cause of backlash, but have lived thru 2 games of Animal Tracks and the backlash on here. So grain of salt time it was for me.
But that is what I will give Pocket Camp. No it is not a full AC experience. But they are very responsive to feedback & are willing to change things up some. And I suspected some greed in this move, I will say that they are great with giving Leaf Tickets away for free. I do not buy Cookies or all of the backgrounds, so I do okay in tickets. Still, if helps to always get free ones. I'd love it if Niantic gave away Poke-Coins for updates or because they screwed something up. Just once Niantic.
That all said, Gulliver was not my favorite thing. I used it to dump extra items I get from (way to many) cookies I get from giving out better fish, fruit & bugs. And was always mildly amused at him coming back from the North gong on about his feet. So if they return it to the old way or make it a hybrid, I'll give it a shot.
Hats off to Nintendo for listening to us.
