Holidays won't be included in the packaged game but I think the free update to add Bunny Day will be available on 20 March.

I hope Holidays are more fun in the new game. Some of them got a little old in New Leaf.
I'm excited about the becoming a master builder or whatever. Creating rivers, cliffs, & paths.. Oh my.

ACWWFreakazoid Labelle's real name is Label. It's explained in the Able sisters' backstory after becoming good friends with Sable.

The museum is stunning! It makes me actually want to visit it and I could see myself spending a lot of time there. I also love how we get windowsills now and we can change the height of wall furniture. The pink and blue anemones look great, too; the anemones might be my new favourite flower! Everything looks so amazing.

Astrid_Alabma I really liked Toy Day because of how it affected gameplay throughout the month, it made the build-up to the day of really exciting by trying to collect all of the hints. I noticed in the Direct the player shook a tree and what appeared to be a red ornament came out. Could be part of an event?

That makes sense! I was kind of wondering that too. Reminds of Pocket Camp in that sense.

That ornament made me think they might allow us to put lights up on our house. I really hope that idea returns from Wild World! (Granted in that game we couldn't actually place them on our house )

TARANTULA IN WINTER. Holy cow, that surprised me. I'm hoping it's not some weird thing to do with the southern hemisphere option. Winter in June, let's bring out the tarantulas! Watched the Japanese Direct as well. It's pretty much the same thing, but you'll see some different things whenever there's in-game text on the screen. Like when the player learns some crafting recipes, Tom Nook gives himself a little scratch. That made me stupidly amused. Ever seen a kangaroo scratch its side? Reminded me of that. Though sadly nowhere near as cute... Other different things, off the top of my head: different stock in the Nooklings' shop, different stock in Able Sisters, and Peanut instead of Margie on that random island. Same thing: Free Update segment shows the same characters, which make sense, but brings up the question of regional holidays, those little events hosted by Isabelle, like Star-Crossed Day. How do you unlock them? Are they tied to the version you bought? Does being in the southern hemisphere have any effect? We'll eventually find out... Fun thing: When the villagers say, "Happy Birthday!" you can really hear it!

"Holy cow, that surprised me. I'm hoping it's not some weird thing to do with the southern hemisphere option. Winter in June, let's bring out the tarantulas!" Secret hidden feature: Southern hemisphere towns are filled with dangerous animals all year round, just like real life!

Riesz When I decided to rewatch the Direct yesterday I also went for the Japanese version. I agree trying to catch the little differences is fun! And there's still a lot to think about for holidays...

Chiyoko I noticed that, too. It's possible that each holiday has items that you can craft. (Ornaments for Christmas, Candy for Halloween, etc.)
