I'm trying to complete my catalog for this game and one thing that I've noticed from a catalog checklist is that there are feathers that I can supposedly obtain that are required for completion. However, I've found no information on how to obtain them in City Folk. I've seen how to get them in Wild World but not City Folk. Can anyone help me figure out how to get these items or are they not even available? Thanks in advance!

They're technically available but not realistically attainable. Like in Wild World, they are rewards for donating to Boondox, but whereas in Wild World you can get the rainbow feather by donating 6,400,000 bells, you need to donate 700,000,000 bells to obtain it in City Folk - and even the lowest-level feather requires a donation of 100,000,000 bells.

Can you even do the donations though? I've never stumbled across the option to donate to Boondox.

In AC:CF, the feathers are given as prizes for saving money in your ABD after you pay off your loan to Nook.

Huh, I could have sworn that it was still possible to donate to Boondox in City Folk. I guess that's what I get for trying to answer questions about a game that I haven't played in close to a decade.

Well, thanks for clearing the matter up everybody. I've got a very long way to go before I'll be getting any of those feathers but it could very well happen.

The feathers can also be obtained by sending your Wild World character to City Folk as a new character (it only copies, it doesn't literally move the character) and ordering the feathers from the catalog on the cheap. Then just hand 'em over to your main character.
