If you find something on the site that is inaccurate or incomplete on ACC, please post here to let the staff know. Please read the following rules and suggestions *carefully* - by following these rules, you will help the staff evaluate your corrections and get them put in place in a more timely fashion.

Rules of posting
If you post in this thread, please keep the following rules in mind:
1: State exactly what page the correction is on. Just a brief description of how you got to the page will do.
2: State as clearly as possible what is incorrect. Just saying "it's wrong" doesn't help us track it down.
3: State as clearly as possible what the correct information is. Please don't just post saying "I think this part is wrong"; tell us what you think it *should* be.

Do's and Don'ts
1: Do post to let us know about incorrect information relating to playing AC. This would include things like incorrect dates/times for events, incorrect information about items, etc.
2: Do post to let us know about incorrect information about ACC. If you noticed a help section that is out of date, for example.
3: Do post to let us know if anything confusing or misleading. For example, if you understand what a particular help section is saying, but you think it might be misread or misinterpreted to say something else.
4: Do NOT copy-and-paste large sections of a page into your post just to tell us that there are a whole bunch of spelling/grammar errors! If you see a page with spelling/grammar errors so bad that they make it unclear what the page is saying, just post saying something like "You might want to check spelling/grammar on this page". If the page is clear but just has a handful of puncuation errors or other minor typos, it's really not that big a deal.

We always appreciate helpful members letting us know if they spot a correction. However, please keep in mind that this thread is *not* a "Who can find the most typos?" game. Remember, quality is more helpful to the staff than quantity.

Under Gameplay-Character-Wendell it says:

He doesn't come around often and will only sell you 3 of his wallpapers per visit so don't miss him.

He only gives you one, right?

We correct as many errors as we can as quickly as we can. However, I do highly recommend you reread the first post here before reposting anything from the old thread here. As Jedi said, you may have missed part of the point.

When pointing your cursor at person on your buddy list that is online, it will tell you how long they've been online. If they've been on 1 hour, it will say "Online: 1 hours." The same applies to minutes. It should either say "1 hour" or "1 hour(s)."

We will make note of this. As it does not actually affect people's understanding of the system though, it will probably not be a high priority.

Highguy, about Wendell,
He will give out one wallpaper per visit to each character, except the forth character who will not get any. That would be the three per visit.

You guys may want to make that part a bit clearer.

Thanks for helping to clarify. The description should be clearer now.

In the Introduction section of the ACC Help section it says this:

Underrivate Thread Alert
Note that the number shown in the Private Threads alert represents total threads, not total posts. So if there are three new posts in one private thread, the alert will still say "1 Private Thread."

In bold text it reads "1 Private Thread" I belive that during recent updates it has been changed to say, New Prvt. Threads. So the sentence should read, "Note that the alert "New Prvt. Threads" brings to your attention that you have been sent a New Private Thread or that there has been one or more posts on one of your existing ones." or something along those lines.

That is just a shortened version of "Announcements". If you notice, every vowel is gone. It is the only way it would fit. Not an error, just an abbreviation.

As I said in the two posts ago, you must state what is wrong with it and what you want it to be changed to.

anyway, I think it is an abbrevation of announcements.

i looked at a players guide and it said sahara is a boy.
either the characters page is not correct, or that players guide has made a major error.

According to the official nintendo guide as well as the e-cards Sahara is a girl. They call her the "Queen of Carpets" as well. If you are looking at the prima guide, it is full of errors.

It seems that I accidently listed my birthday as 10/3/2004- my real birthday is in 1990. I also seems that this information cannot be modified(obviously to keep people from constantly changing it to be listed every day) If there's any way to fix this problem, any help would be appreciated.

Please use the "Report A Problem" link from your profile page if you are having problems with your profile information

You can click "Report a Problem" and have a mod fix it.

There's a bug in search item section
If you search for one thing, go to page 2 or up and search another with less than 25 results, the page you're at stays the same and have to click previous page to see the search results

On the "My Profile" page if a user has not set an avatar, it will say where their avatar should be "Click Here to Set an Avatar." However, clicking there does nothing; you have to click the "Change Avatar" button below it to set your avatar and/or change it. So instead, it should say "Click "Change Avatar" to Set an Avatar" or "Click Below to Set an Avatar" or somethink like that, because it could be confusing right now.

This is not incorrect. One user can not change another users avatar. However if a user clicks on their own avatar, or where their avatar should be, it will allow them to select their avatar.

When you click on the ? button in the upper right-hand corner of the page it takes you to a help section. I then preceded to click on My ACC Pages. I scrolled down to My items and just below it gave this.

You can also read a tutorial walkthrough for setting up your items and trading in the ACC Trading Post Tutorial.

The words "ACC Trading Post Tutorial" were a link. The link did not work, and when clicked on it would take you to a page with the word false. Obviously the link is not working or the page does not exist. So, either the link needs to be corrected, or the sentence removed completely.

In ACC Help under "My ACC Pages" under "Birth month/day" it says in the 2nd paragraph:

"If you enter your birth day and month here, you will get a birthday cake icon next to your name on your birthday."

That's not true; you will get a birthday candle next to your name on your birthday.

When you click on my towns and see Museum if you put the cursor over the Fish, Insects, Fossils or Paintings it says Mueseum

In the items section, it doesn't say where to find the cockroach.

that's because if you have spoiled turnips you leave them in one acre then go to another acre and then check back on the turnips and it will either have ants or cockroaches.

Then perhaps it should say under where to find the cockroach something like "On Trees/On Flowers/Attracted to Turnips."

In the adoption page at the bottom says that if you speak spanish you had to click there. In the middle of the sentence (I don't remember EXACTLY what it says) but when you try to say "and" you writted "i" but it is "y".

If you click on the "Scout sign" next to a Scout's user name, it will take you to the Scout page. On that page, it says that Scouts are chosen be the admins and mods. I may be wrong, but I always thought that Mom chose the Scouts. Am I right? If so, that should probably be fixed.
