Hi,

Do you mean "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" for your iPhone/Android? If so, just return to your campsite, and hit the home button on your device. The game saves on its own. You don't need to properly "save & quit" like the mainline games.

I pretty much never play it anymore.

However, there's an entire board for Animal Crossing Pocket Camp (click here) here on the site. You're bound to find new friends on there.

It shouldn't matter for pocket camp as you can help friends and engage with the app at any time of the day.
