Have been gone for a while. I recently got a switch and cant wait till they realese a new animal crossing game!. But for the mean time I wanna play and get back into it. I found a couple used wiis for like 50 dollars lol. My question is how many people still play city folk?

I haven't played in months, but I'd like to get back into it! But please keep in mind the online play on the Wii has been discontinued for almost all Wii games, including City Folk. New Leaf still has online, though!

I had no idea! Thanks for the info. I'll probably end up buying a 3ds again. Miss the game and the people I'd find to play with on here. !

It's probably been more than 5 years since the last time I played AC:CF.

It's crazy that City Folk is ten years old now.
It still seems like a new game.

What really gets me though is that in two years we'll be posting about how AC:WW is 15 years old.
I'll have had spent the last decade and a half playing these dang games.

Nah, there's plenty of players on Wiimmfi, but none of them can ever sync up their game times to play together.  Shame, really, as it would be fun with all this COVID-19 lock-ins happening.  You'd think there'd be PLENTY of people available to play, but they're all too busy playing newer games like New Horizons.

It's a shame really. i still play all my previous towns.

Dude, I'm selling 4 rooms full of turnips right now on Wild World on my DS.  The price hit 388 and they were all bought Sunday for 93 each.  This is some good profit!

Last week I had sold turnips on City Folk - and even had to negotiate around Nookington's being built.  Luckily, the high price happened the following morning.  And unfortunately, I'm not nearly as far along on that game, so I only have the single 8x8 main room with no extra rooms or floors yet.  (Wild World has a maxed out house fully paid off now).

I’m very sad as I gave my wii to Mum so she could play it, to see if she would enjoy ACNH. long story short my town was deleted. So I’m wondering if I should even start again? There was years of effort in my ACCF town and the trouble now is I don’t even know how to plug it into my tv with no ac ports 🙁

I did buy Mum a switch and she loves ACNH. I miss the dialogue in ACCF.

Im still playing. I play online using a facebook group. There seems to be about 4 or 5 active players on there. I tried Discord a few times but didnt get any takers on playing online so I gave up on discord. Still pretty fun after all these years. Would love to meet someone to play We Love Golf with also.

I did start playing recently but the issue is that I don’t own a gf so I have to rely on my parents one ! I want to figure out how to connect to online features since that would definitely get me wanting to play again
