I've been struggling to find a spider and have been wondering if they appear on fruit trees as well as cedars and saplings? I've only been shaking cedars and saplings as I haven't wanted too shake the fruit of the trees. Any tips are appreciated  

I always shook all the fruit trees first before I shook the other trees (since you run the risk of shaking the bees out of the non-fruit trees) to get the spider and the bagworm.
