This game came out five years ago, and I'm almost to the point where I've done everything I could want to. I loved playing with friends on this game but the game isn't nearly as active as it used to be. I stopped playing for a few months hoping they would announce a game for the switch, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. I'm just curious how often you guys play this game? And if you still actively play everyday, what are some things you do to make the game interesting again? I'm trying to get back into it while I wait for the switch game, but it's just so hard when you've been playing for five years, and most people aren't playing anymore. How do I stop myself from getting tired of this game?
Have you ever considered joining a Giveaway? There are lots of jobs to be held and this would let you be active in the ACC community. Meeting other members this way helps to keep the game interesting and gives you the chance to make some new friends.
Because I am so indecisive of what I wanted my first town to be, I've changed the theme so many times. So that has me busy rn and one day finishing my second town. I try to get all the badges and all furniture I'm missing. I'm also tryin to get every animals pic ever.

I've been playing since the release. Completing the mayor badges and than playing the extra players as real players made it more fun. Playing as an extra player their is no mayor work. Some days I play with the villagers and other I play on the island.
A few months ago one of my spare town became a casual town. Play when I want and don't worry about villagers leaving. Found that I was having a lot of fun so I made two more spare towns into casual towns.
One I named after our new dog and some RL peoples dogs. That one is a lot of fun. Bones was a starter and hope to add more dogs as I play thru.
I play daily. I pick it up for a few minutes in the morning, a few minutes during my noon hour at work, and then for a little while most evenings. Having people in my life that play too helps keep it interesting. Helping each other find well-hidden fossils, fishing and bugging together, etc.
Lately I have been considering tearing down some public works projects and putting up new ones and changing the path routes and look of my town, which also helps to keep it fun.
