Yesterday I enacted the keep your town beautiful ordinance, Isabelle said it would take effect this morning. I turned on my game and almost half of my flowers are brown, a ton of weeds more than normal. the keep town beautiful ordinance is supposed to be less weeds, no wilted flowers, etc... what happened?

Did you water the flowers before the new day started since I think it works as if your flowers are about to wilt (not watered the day before) then it carries on with what's it's doing until the new day starts to the flowers you out in or plant that day stays beautiful. Idk if you get what I mean x.x
But you have something one day not watered it carries on its process till the next day so it wilts, but anything on the next day stays with the beautiful town

yeah pretty much what cherry said. the ordinance goes into effect today, so today you don't have to water flowers that aren't wilted. yesterday it wasn't in effect, so any flowers that weren't watered had a chance of wilting and weeds would spawn as normal when the day changes over.
